World Reading Aloud Day and Pre Prep Inter School athletics at Klein Vyf

This was celebrated at the Academy on Wednesday. Our Grade 9’s went into the Grade 1 class and read to them. For the “littlies” who are just learning to read, this was a wonderful and encouraging experience.

Spel Kompetisie

Famous Brands and Science Excursions

On 26th February, Mr Roth took his Business Studies learners to Famous Brands in Midrand. Famous Brands will be used in one of the questions in the IEB matric this year, and a visit to their factory in Midrand is seen as a positive way to enable the candidates to approach the question with operational knowledge and without fear. The picture below left will not strike fear into the hearts of all who view it during a wedding or bull’s party slide show, or the like!
